well i have small in a way just two plants. one is getting taller than i wanted but considering it started flowering i got 8 to 10 weeks left so ill ride it out. the chances of getting caught are slim to none because i have them in 8 ft palms

i live in south alabama have you found that the 100 plus temps hinder your plants i grew 1 last year just 7 ft but i got 4 ozs dried off it. thought that was good till i real bout peeps in cali growing trees in their perfect climate but hell my 7 year old could grow a 12 footer in cali how do i do it in bama?

a little update for mine. also went shrooming/ fishing caught more fish then shrooms tho

looks like a florida bass. im not too familar with the mushroom on the log or the two in the grass but i see the spores opening up on the cow patty

yeah its a good old fl bass . the white on in the grass is a "puff ball" i herd u can eat them but not too sure. the other one is a cube and the one on the patty is a cube or a cope im not to sure but i know it will fuck u up lol

LOL yes its still alive... but i was talking about eating the puffball .. i eat bass all the time, but idk if i want to eat a bass that came from a pond where cows shit and piss in it every day

yeah i dont eat bass that often maybe once a year if that. i prefer certain saltwater species as i live in florida. if i do choose to eat a bass its comming from water i can see the bottom. in florida they have brown water which is usually high acidic and higher levels of mercury. it is safe to eat them once in a while but if you go crazy hungry and eat them too much they can lead to sickness

yeah i love me some fried snapper or grouper. when i do eat bass i try to get them from spring fed lakes

yeah i really just dont prefer bass anymore. for being a freshwater fish they are fishy. i almost brought one home for me for dinner the other day but i lost it on the bank. i was fishing a gravel pit and they are spring fed some of the cleanest water in south florida. i remember being in dunnellon a couple years ago and going swimming at the kp hole and it was spring fed and 72 degrees and i didnt have a mask but underwater i was still able to see outside the rope a good 30 ft such crystal clear water

yeah i worked on a commercial fishing boat for a few seasons. its really good money when they had a good shark season. we longlined for shark and grouper and theres a lot more money in shark fishing but the season is only a week long now so no one decks their boat out for a week of fishing now long lining is done and you have to use traps now so the money really went down. but it was hard work too. sometimes i had to work 24 hours straight and thats hard to do when your on a 40 ft boat in 8 ft seas and havent seen land for 2 weeks but it was a fun experience

but yeah lately ive been bass fishing. but my ultimate love is saltwater fishing. bass only get so big and fight so hard. my favorite eating fish is cobia...it tastes like porkchops

yeah snook are delicious but they closed the season after that hard winter we had 2 years ago it supposed to open on the gulf coast in september of this year. they closed snapper snook bonefish and tarpon after the hard freeze now you can catch snapper on the gulf coast and snook on the east coast. but september its back open fully so im just waiting till then. me personally didnt see any affects of the cold on the snook population. i still see a lot of snook and i still see 1 and 2 year old snooks so i dont think they were affected as much as fwc thinks. but its all good the snook are getting a break and i guess they deserve that
