I've got a grow room set up in my garage... its not a huge garage but its good sized enough that i assembled a grow box made out of wood in there. my box is about 44" wide, 21" deep" and 6' high... i made it to be self enclosed, my buddies came up with the great idea of popping holes in the side and using pc fans to vent the beast... the issue i've been running into is keeping the ambient temperature of the garage to in between 75-85 degrees... during the day it can get upwards of 95, to the max i saw one day of 100 degrees!
At night i open the garage door leadin into my house and use 3 big fans to create a current of air flowing from the screen door in the back room of my house to blow cold air from outside into the garage... the issue is during the day when its hot and i'm not home cuz of work, and i keep the door locked, for obvious reasonss.... any ideas on how to keep the beast cold during the day while im gone without dropping 500 bucks on a AC unit?
