Suggestions on a decent PH tester?

Just looking for some suggestions on a PH meter. There are a ton of options, so was looking to see what has worked as far as ease of use and accuracy for folks out here.

This my ph meter. You should mention if its soil or hydro as theres a difference. Or I think.. Anyway these blow meters out the water IMO Ive used a ph meter.

I learned they quickly become usless unless you do every step to maintain each use. People will say otherwise and thats ok to each their own. Im personally more on the lazy side.

Bro...i would be lost with out my meters....
I have used liquid ph testers....
At 30+ buckets i just ph pen my 5 gal.
Get the reading ... ph up or down.
Then move to the next bucket.
I can see the plant responding by day 2.

I can only see it benefiting to folks that recirculate solution.
In dtw you basically know from day one what your ph is at a given ec and it doesnt change if you are using the same water.

Thats me right now. Dtw coco but treat it like promix. Set ec and with tap always makes 6.0 or just under. I loove it and would be screwed if it didnt stay that way.

5 gal bucket for each plant filled daily so it never rots. Its a bitch but Il admit every drop ran througj the ladies have been fresh solution with bleach not a single microbe.

So yea I dont even ph anymore only seasonal to make sure it didnt drift.

The PH pen is quick....
Dip ...get a reading. Then PH up or down.
Dip...double check. Move on .

The liquid testers is slow...
Take a sample...drip the tester...check the color. PH up or down...take a sample...drip the tester.
Check the color
It goes on forever.
But it will get the job done

Maybe mine is broken. Dipping does not give an accurate reading.
I would ballpark guess a minute until it is stable.

The drops and strips actually work great, and usually improve your mixing skills after using them for an extended period.
You can usually nail it after mixing the same stuff for a while, just so you don't have to sample again.
I always keep some for backup.
I only have to check my nute solution a few times during the entire grow.......only when I up the strength. I haven't checked the pH of my current grow in a couple months.

The electrode probably needs cleaning and reconditioning, soak in a hot cleaning solution, then recalibrate.
If that doesn't improve performance, replace the electrode.

My hanna gives me pin point readings soon as they hit the water. I can check multiple times an still be spot on. Same with the blue lab.
I say spend the extra money an get the quality

It's not like the pH has to be tested daily. I test it twice a grow when I change my nute strength.
