If I may....
Light spectrum has a huge effect on the height of a MJ plant. Red spectrum light during veg will make your plants grow tall (stretch). Blue spectrum lighting will make close (tight) nodes and a short (not stretched) plant. obviously the distance of the lights will greatly affect the amount of stretching as well. but distance being equal, blue spectrum or even better FULL spectrum lighting is what you want to keep your plants short.
MOST common CFL's are 2700K (red). They do come in other spectrums. Look for a 6500K (daylight/ full spectrum) CFL to veg with and ADD some 2700K bulbs to flower with.

I need to pick a mh conversion bulb for my next grow. I can so tell the difference in 6500k cfl vegging vs. hps vegging hahaha. Oh well next grow I'll have some more toys to play with hahahahaha I'll have to pick up another hps bulb as well. Oh well I love getting new toys with new grows its fun.

They're all curled down though. Thats not such a good thing.
I think its a little too close to the light. I see signs of heat stress in this one.

Happy plants have leaves that stand at attention reaching for the light. Not stretching mind you but reaching.
Also if they were waterlogged they might look like that too, but I suspect light/heat stress as the cause. What are the temps at the top of that plant?
Temps are 28C with the lights on and 20C with the lights off. I think you may be on to something here. I was trying to figure out why Plant A is curled so much more than C and D, they all have been treated exactly the same.

I think it may have to do with my ventilation system.

You will notice that the intake is on the right, so the fresh cool air comes in the right and goes out the fan at the top center (No air circulation from left to center. That would mean my plants on the right have more cool fresh air than the plant of the left.

Make sense? I think I will need to add another intake on the left side and see how they respond (in the meantime will switch Plant A to the right to see if it perks up)

Doing a bit to much watering there yeld... Back off on watering, let it go another day when you think it needs to be watered. Thats why the one plant on the left is hella drooping. Its got the canoe shaped leaves that mine had. Let her dry out real good before watering and get 'em into a bigger pot like you said, but a bit sooner. BTW its plant A that I'm talking about...

:leaf::peace::leaf:
I'm not too sure about the watering, I am waiting until the soil is completely dry and the pots are super light (Usually 4-5 Days, ie its only been watering twice since planting in moist soil). Each has been drying out at the same pace and has been getting the same amount of water. I think it has to do with my ventilation system (see my response to itsgrowing). Once I add the extra intake I'll see what happens, if that doesn't change Plant A, I'll go back to the drawing board.

Bingo! I think you are on to something there. It's the little things like that, that can make a big difference, especially over the course of a long grow.

Kind of slack with the updates, pretty busy at work these days.

So all three plants really began to exhibit the same syptoms, excessive curling and cupping of the leaves. I did some reading and found that this was due to high heat. The plants were trying to retain moisture by cupping.

I tried a few things and I think I may have finally fixed the problem. First I added another passive intake on the oppisite side to ensure clean fresh air for all plants. Next I added a fan to the chamber to help circulate air and keep the plants cool. I changed the lighting from 19/5 to 18/6 to give the plants an extra hour of cool dark time during the hottest part of the day (afternoon). And finally I ready that a robust deep root system helps a plant deal with high heat, so I transplanted (they were starting to get root bound too).

Two days after transplant and the other changes and all three plants are showing looks of new growth and seem to have bounced back. I am going to keep my fingers crossed. Good thing my cab is in the basement.

Pics tomorrow hopefully.

DAY 17

Took some pics this morning. I still need to get the temps down more, but I figure within a month or so outside temps should drop enough to help.

All three:

PLANT A Day 10 vs 17

PLANT B DAY 10 VS 17

PLANT D DAY 10 VS 17

DAY 18

So I decided to take some clones tonight.... first time so I'm kinda worried about how it will turn out. I also noticed that Joey Weed has some more C99 available from Hemp Depot. I think I am going to order some of those seeds and use C99 for my perpetual grow. So that means for this one I'll probably just throw whatever female clones I have into the flowering room too.

Back to the cloning. I have this liquid root stuff for propagating plants, Wilson's I think. I gave them a good spraying with water. I topped each plant right above the second node, should give me four tops according to Uncle Ben's Topping Guide. The plants look really small after taking the clones.

And here are some pics:

Ya good idea taking clones love it!!!! Yes topping at 2nd node will yeild 4 tops. You can also top those tops and get 8 heads and so on and so forth. I have fallen in love with this topping method. I like how short the plant stays.

Well my try at cloning has gone the opposite of good. All three are now dead...

I need to get a humidity dome, they got limp after the first 6 hours and never recovered. Misting just didn't do the trick. Shoot.

Each plant now has four tops all coming along nicely. I may take one top off of each and try cloning again (with a humidity dome).

I think another week should have all the plants with well developed tops ready to start flowering.

Just get a clear sandwich bag and use it as a makeshift humidity dome, that's what I did and it worked fine.

DAY 28

So at Day 28 all three of my plants are doing really well. Them have really taken off after recovering from the topping. I did a bit of LST to the two bigger plants to pull each of the four top out to the side a bit more. I think it is going to result in quite a few tops.

So my plant got too big for the lower grow space so I have moved them up top, with 2x 42w 2700k, 2x 42w 6500k, 4x 23w 6500k. In 3-4 more days I will be taking some cuttings of the tops developing in the center of the plant. I may also switch over to 12/12 for the three main plants depending on how much taller they get over the next 3-4 days.

Anywho here's some pics:

And showing the results of my topping:

You're doing pretty good, but you could make some improvements.
Your plants are all showing signs of overwatering AND heat stress.
They are all doing the overwatering frown. (leaves curling down) This used to happen to me too. I figured it was normal. I was overwatering, most people are. When you get the watering correct, your plants leaves will point UP reaching for the light. Your leaves are too waterlogged(heavy) to do this.
You have decent ventilation in the cab, but there's no breeze blowing directly on the plants blowing the heat from the lights away. You should be able to keep the lights very close without the signs of heat stress. Maybe your room is just too hot overall IDK.
They also look a little pale. They could be greener. More N or perhaps some Mg.
Not recommending anything major here, just some ideas for some minor tweaks...
Happy growing.

Thanks man, I appreciate the constructive criticism. I need to pick up a little fan to mount inside my cab to blow the air around. I think my leaves are cupping because of higher heat, like 27C. I hope once fall temps come in it should get things in order.

I'm pretty sure I am seeing a few little ball developing on my two bigger plants. I haven't switched to 12/12 yet, but hey both now have alternating nodes.

I haven't seen any signs on my smallest plant...hopefully its a female, so far they have always shown 4-5 days after the males have shown. Hope it turns out female, i want to take some clones.
