What are the PROS and CONS about "lollipopping" a plant? And when is the best time/ height to do it???

Pro: Upper buds supposedly get larger
Con: You loose lower buds

That's basically it. Personally I lollipop my plants most of the time so i can use the lower branches as clones

Yeah i clone the bottom too and the plant sort of lolipops itself lol

larger top and no popcorn buds,possible clones from bottom branches that were cut off during lollipopping
