submersible water pump?

i want to create a DWC setup for one plant. im looking for a water pump to lay within the water resv. and connect it to a misting system. im having trouble finding this item in a store so im looking online. bc i cant actually hold the item i want ppl's advice on what to buy.

i want something that uses the water/nutes resv. as the water source and after the mist bathes the root system, obv. the remaining water will fall back into the resv. and "recycle" the water.

what should i buy? im using the search term "submersible water pump" online, is this what i need?

as im looking at pics, i dont see the where the pump actually "suck up" the water. here's a pic from Better Grow Hydro website, link is:
www. bghydro.com

IS THIS WHAT I NEED?

whoa, gnar reactions for "double posting", lmao. relax guys, i put hem in TWO DIFFERENT categories.

i know a lot of ppl on this site would not answer a thread in the hydro/aero subject bc theyre soil growers, but needed one there in case an experienced person could answer me.

i want to make a dwc w. a mister system so that the roots stay continuously bathed. it's almost like an aeroponic system, but i do not plant to have the plant suspended w/o some type of growing medium.

how? if theyre just drooping within an empty chamber of water, how are they bathed in water? i know that you lower the water resv. as the roots get longer but i want them to not get dry once they get long.

dude what are you talking about?

add it up with me....

you have a res.
your roots reside in the res.
the res is full of water

im not understanding how you are thinking roots dry out in a dwc....

it is called deep water culture

Ok listen here. You don't drop the water as the roots grow longer in a DWC bubble bucket. You keep the water at relatively the same level which is just touching the bottom of the net pot. Therefore the medium sucks up water (plus splashing from bubbles) keeps water feeding to the roots till they grow long enough to emerge from the pot and submerge in the water where they grow longer and go deeper into the water.

you guys have way too much time on ur hands. yes i meant FF, not Az. for some reason Az stuck out in my mind. my bad. LB? get a life bro. we dont need sarcastic ppl on this site. i wonder if 3500 of ur 4000+ posts are sarcastic remarks to ppl trying to learn. ive done plenty of reading on this site, i ask for ppl's opinion on what's best, not what in general so relax and smoke.

lol. check my stats bro.

i'm very helpful around these parts buddy....but yes, im going to talk shit when there are multiple threads and a faq for growing and all your answers could have been found with minimum 5 minutes research. this site is like an encyclopedia...use it. You also making duplicate threads? shit i could give a fuck less....but i was trying to give some advice....people dont like to see multiple threads on the same subject...they will go to both and not even respond. it also clogs the server....

relaxed? smoke? how do you know im not smoking or im not relaxed? where can i find one of those internet online emotion detectors? last time i checked you are reading my font type.

and before you question my post count, you need to get your feet wet first! thank you and drive thru ---------->

ok sorry guys. i only double posted bc my questions are applicable to 2 different categories. ALSO, why hell the dont you guys give ppl grief for posting about saying happy 420. some ppl reply and give meaningless posts that are NO QUESTIONS or ANSWERS, just chit chat. at least my post/s were questions. also, im new here so i didn know double posting was rollitup felony. id say 20% of the posts here are NOT questions or answers to anything. lot's ppl think it's comedy central and make jokes or leave sarcastic meaningless answers here.

FF is cool, LB is about 20% helpful, 80% sarcastic and not helpful.
