Stunted!

Hey guys just throwing out there to see some other opinions other than my local shop, reasons why my friends girls are so stunted.

5 weeks into veg (cloned from cuttings using turboklone and were in the machine for 7 days before roots) and are only 1.5ft tall and not growing. Shooting off very close and bushy nodes and just don't look right.

Some basic specs are-

room size 5.6m X 4m X 2.4m (18x13x8 for non metric system folks) in a shed. Lined with studs, insulation, ceiling and gyprock walls (purpose built)

Using HPS 600w x18 (don't hate)

extraction with carbon filter on both-
1x455mm can fan pro
1x355 sigilventus fan

a/c is a home spec evaporative cooler, 2 vents on roof, one ducted at bottom of room with 100mm ducting pushing some air low

multiple walls fans etc

Fairly new setup, this would be the 4th run, 1st 2 were perfect, last run had some issues, this run is having massive issues.

end of summertime in but heat isn't really an issue with the extraction and cooling.

have checked with air quality monitor and C02 is around 450

Ok humidity is an issue. I've never had humidity issues in 10x10 in the past so have never had to deal with issues bar some slightly low which a little extra cool air helped easy enough.

Currently looking at Horti air ultrasonic (1.6l p/h)

Ideal location inside the room and sizing? Can't find a lot of calculators out there for ideal sizing

Sizing is going to depend on location, here in MN it gets so dry in the winter that with small plants in a 4x4 a 1 gallon humidifier is too small to last a whole day. Location shouldn't matter at all if you have decent air movement, which you should anyways.

Yeah plenty of movement, several oscilating fans and box fans on the floor plus equal intake and extraction.

Average humidity for the year where we are in Aus is from memory 60% and at the start of autumn here going to be ok outside just clearly too dry inside the space
