to start with, i have never had a grow come out this well and part of it was him telling me to back the fuck off and let them grow right after germination.... i wish like fucking hell i would have listened to him more about about fimming. when the plants were still young, maybe a foot high, here comes a stranger (we had just met after he found me on here through a post) telling me to pinch the tops off of my healthy plants. next year i know better.

a few months later, he bailed me out when the plants got so tall, the neighbors could obviously see them effortlessly sticking out of the shed we built to contain them.

alot of it is from spending hundreds of hours reading. you name it i read it (i'm a fucking nerd i guess) - forum posts, grow guides, regular gardening books, sites and forums; on top of the reading, i spent a bit of time looking at grow rooms and asking questions and watching hundreds if not thousands of youtube videos on growing.

if by now you can't tell - i am ocd and a perfectionist. i think the important thing to remember is just because some random asshole gives advice (plenty of bad advice out there to read) - there is no reason to jump up and blindly trust that won't kill your plants. research it. while i may have more time than others at home you can still google it ask around and most importantly - look at what regular gardeners are doing with good results. you don't need 400 bottles of nutes to get "maxium yield"" or whatever advanced nutrients is saying about their overpriced nutes. i use dyna gro (veg, bloom, pro-tekt and mag-pro) and the lady told me they would love to make just 2 products but the ph balance causes nasty reactions at those concentrates. next year i am sending soil and compost samples to a lab to be analyzed and adjusting nutrients that way, plain water and whatever is in the soil 100% organic.

next year will be 100X what this grow is/was *knock on wood* I have a potential strain list for what i want to do next year HERE

we have nice color in there for a few more weeks. Things are starting to turn. We will change things a lttle next year and hpe for a little beter results. lol or at least more plants. we could have got away with x2 what we had this year and still be legal.
