Anyway from the top half of the article I would completely agree..
A field sobriety test is the only conclusive evidence that one is "too impaired" to drive.

i totally agree with you, but unfortunately the arresting officer is often looking for someone to arrest rather than objectively assessing sobriety. Hence, per se instruction dictates that any degree of intoxication is sufficient for an arrest and the rigamarole that entails.
 
If that study is the same study from another forum I visit, the study included people who smoked pot days ago and over a year ago, so there percents will be off by a lot. Not saying driving while stoned is bad but you shouldn't like any other drug.

Honestly it depends on how stoned you are. I can drive after 4 bong rips no problem, but after 6 bong rips and a pinch of hash, hell no.

Exactly, its like alchole, drink to much your impaired, drink a beer or so and your still straight to drive.
 
i don't believe its the quantity of how much you smoke. I could smoke an ounce and drive fine, but when it comes to that one strain that fubar's you is when your driving comes to consideration. The strain has a large impact on your driving ability.
 
A special field test has to be invented.
I'm sure they based the blood test on some old report.
Everyone is different when it comes to being too stoned (drunk no doubt as well).

Maybe the cop should tell jokes and see if and how hard you lol?

What will be the standard test for impairment?
 
Individual tolerance is so varied that it's impossible to draw a line.

Personally I can't get that high. But my wife gets a bad trip from a contact high.
 
Seems anything from the Cheese Strain fucks me up beyond belief, but all of my friends hate the stuff and say it's weak. I smoke their crap sometimes and it's horrible. I have never loaded an 1/8th between 3 people and been able to function perfectly normal till I smoked that lemon diesel crap they had. Admittedly they were stoned as hell, I just wasn't that good to go yet.
