Stuck Seed

I germed a couple WW with no issues. They were both planted and both popped right up. One opened up no problem, the other just sat there with its seed cap on. I finally got up the nerve to carefully remove the seed cover. Then it sat in a little ball for another couple days. So I carefully pried it open. It looked like the leaves were stuck together. As soon as I pried it apart, it began to open up, the new leaves are now showing. Weird, huh?

Its happened to me a few times, I was not so lucky though... heads popped off. Happens to me about every 30 - 40 germs.

ya, you need to just let that go in the future. either they open or they don't, but opening them manually almost never helps

I call them "runts". I had about 5 in my bagseed grow. I helped them out, and 4 out of 5 have taken off. they are about 12 days worth of growth behind their germ-mates, but I suspect that they will produce something in the end.

Well as far as letting it go - no offense, but when a seed costs a bunch of cash, I'm going to do anything to give it (and me) a break. These are WW fem seeds, not cheap. Plus the usual paranoia from ordering contraband.

It does seem to be lagging behind the others, but it still seems to be growing. Plus another "learning experience".

i also have some WW fems. not to expensive tho. use shouldt touch em when they so small.
the oil from your fingers can fuck them up pretty good. plus, if the plant meets hardship, it only gets stronger.
thats why you have a fan blowin on em
