stuck seed husk help

has anybody ever tried to pull off the seed husk if it was stuck on there seedling? if so did it kill it or was it okay. any help would be great thanks!

Hello friend. My opinion is to leave it be. It will fall off sooner or later as the plant grows. I would think that you removing it from such a young sprout would be more dangerous than letting the plant do it naturally. Instead of thinking of it as stuck, lets think of it has not fallen off yet. I am stoned and just woke up, time for waffles! Good luck friend!

It looks fine, if I am seeing correctly it has already split all the way and just hasnt fallen off yet. Just give it one more day its about ready to start reaching for the light and shedding it anyway.

be patiient but there are some strains that have seeds that are hard as hell if you have a steady hand like I do I pull them off all the time

they dont need any help in the wild

I pull them off all the time you do ned a delicate touch, I use my big ass thumb and forefinger grasp just below the leaves pinch it just firm enough to keep it from moving. then take a pair of tweezers and try to flick off the husk if it is doesn't move you can tug on it with the tweezers VERY LIGHTLY. Or wait it out I tend to pull them so they can start growing quickly. If you got the time let it go, if the plant looks like it is hurting or dying then what have you got to loose.

while yes they dont need help in the wild, they also don't produce 15% thc in the wild, they usually go to seed very quickly in the wild, and they haven't been bread for very specific traits in the wild.

I may have killed my Gigabud by messing with the stuck seed pod. I did just successfully remove one. I still have one that is stuck, but it's pretty tight right now.

My experience is just be careful, try to remove it very carefully, but stop if you have to get rough about it.

I have a 50% kill rate though.

Same here. I just keep the husk moist with a little mist, and it falls off. I always think it's a good idea to pull it off when I'm baked and I've killed half the plants I've tried to assist.

yah i ened up putting her in soil too, talk about plant abuse poor thing. go to my other thread and check out the pics.
