strip led run hot or soft what layout

Anyways ive chosen 3k for my strips atleast now haha. There less on the paper but rspec pushes the yields up.

Is running 4x4 502watts 12 strip 3k. Thats 40w a square ft

so my 5x5 id like 40w sq ft 3k 25sqft x40w is 1000w
So 25 bars seems good spacong as 1 bar per square ft 40x25
Dim that to 75 %and its 750w would prob stay there and creep up. 50%is 500w which is great for veg up high.

The link ledgardener guide uses 18 for 600w that would be 28 strips. Could do that butni thjnk spacing would get hard ?n go over the 4ft acros?

No, nobody said that. HLG uses lm301h and or top bin lm301b, same diode with two different part numbers. They are higher efficiency but EB2 are much cheaper.

I suggest you buy a plug and play light, turn on spell check and use punctuation.

well i was under the impresson the lettering was only to do with bin coding on them chips, quality etc.
and was going by my hlg boards which say Each HLG 350R uses 2 of our custom designed full spectrum high efficiency Diablo quantum boards with Samsung LM301H

guy mentioned the q series having the 301 so i was sharing shock as i saw the 301s on my hlg, the ledgarnder page explains how the q series is nothing compared to the f series or blux,
hlg was always everywhere said to have locked in all top bins, so i was merely shocked at the q series, that has nothing to do with me, my skill or typing,
i struggle to learn stuff yeah but once i do u should see what ive done pal, i know i seem crazy and un intellectual forgive my learning being erratic.. time is my enemy i read on phones between work, i work my hands and have white noise so fingers go numb and struggle to type, its good fun after years of trying to correct it all on the phone i gave up,
ive only just got my pc on first time in 4 weeks purely to reply in some english for you as its easier but still troublesome, sorry for that,

im looking at options i had and foudn i was reading the wrong chips on the sites compared to the strips which i missed size and caused confusion, midnight pointed out the strips are 37v and ones im looin at were only 10 haha. there all named the same bloody site is full of em it confused me blond

choosing 3500 primarily but if avent will split the 3000k 90cri they got il take 10 or 20 of them but min order is 100, ive emailed them, ive had companys pass side orders off just to be nice before , again dont get if you dont ask,

then ive option to run 2 drivers 10 3500 80cri and 10 300090cri on dimmers so i can tune slightly,
this option is due to the 2700s stretch begin too much for my scrog, the 3000-3500 are perfect, tho i miss some red when 3500 alone,
the 3000 90cri is amazing, the 3000,k has the red i need but the 90cri brings the peak when red is available which increases stem and bud production,the 3000k alone is toomuch red for my scrogg as to migros graphics on kelvins, thats from cutters words and migros testing, the 80cri spikes more blue, the 3500k is balanced and missing that red so mix em, .
10 bxeb slim 3500k 80cri and 10 bxeb slim 3000k 90cri on 100ohm potentiometer each n 2 drivers ive not yet researched so dont shoot me yet

You can hook a 50k potentiometer to 2 drivers and dim together. Also what voltage range? Arrow is always worth checking out for drivers. Yeah I could of ran 2 or 4 drivers but these LGs were really cheap. Cheap safe and functional is all I needed.

All good, samsung has a shitload of series with all different applications.. ive never used bridgelux , but the data sheets are pretty similar. Samsung , I'd stick with 301b or 301h for efficiency if going Samsung. I've used less efficient "M,S,301A".... ect with pretty nice results, just around 160lm/watt instead of 200+ lm/w with Q or H . Here's a data sheet for Samsung's. There may be a newer one out there.

Ye found that tho wen i go on the page says 187 lm but pics shows 200 plus still is that what ya mean on the lies on samsguns data i guess the 200lm are on 5000k not checked on phone again

The ab drivers are adjustable so i can dim them without a potiniometer? Or do i use that potdim for "my " dimming cycle.and use the driver to controll max at 40w?

I want to dim both spectrums so i can turn off the 3000k if poss and run the 3500 at 50% for babys . Upto 100 end veg and 3000k build up in flower .

I know its not 2700 4000k mix but im scrogging and under the inpression 2700 can stretch somw strains toomuch for my needs 3k being amazing but lacking blue so the 3500 peeps say wish had a lil more red . Meet in the middle 3k 3500k test. Next il make a 5k 2700 but for now i just need to get my garden going my 3030s are dying board by board now so old and i dont wana rebuild em again.
babys are in waiting to go in my 100gallon bed

Sounds good so far. Stop stressing so much about the spectrum mix. I can almost guarantee you won't be able to tell the difference. I liked your first idea of mixing a bit of 90CRI in there.

I'd go with the HLG-480H-42AB instead. Voltage is better suited for the EB strips. The 48 is better fir the Sammy strips.

run 11 strips per HLG-480H-42AB. That will put you around 1.04a/ strip. Which I think is the best trade off for heat and watts/$ on these.

So guessed the 3000k would do the red better and 3500mix bring the blue while holding red.

I mean teknix has the buddies indeep 90cri red they would bring the cri up to 90 easily i could add some of them for flower

Tek said the ebs run best at around 30w so dropping the strips to 30w and add 3 strips a side would keep the 800w.and make it more efficient which goes against my hps days of boosting lights haha

And the 2 strips ive found and hoping are the correct ones. For the top bin . Voltage and size match? Havent clicked a wrong model in therr have i? Not gona burn the house down with em or have enough power to flicker grow mustard instead lol.
Seen a guy order 50 of the wrong strip n soul say "thats human lumens u wont grow anything " lol dont want non of that human lighting haha


I found the slim dodnt say high output or forward volt.
So on the gen3 linked i followed its series and found another chip not a slim thats high output and says 38v also so im guessing them 2 are "matches" the lumen is the same as that of the slim.
There more expensive but the data says the v etc and i duno wtf the other is it doesnt say the volt etc

If the slim is ok id consider it but soul said he had to rethrwad them all and that sounds scary as fk

You can just pop the rubber cap , adjust either volt or current with a small Phillips head. Up to you really . Depends on if your mounting drivers on the fixture or remote. Sounds like you got a nice plan going on now. Gl
-- look for Delta drivers as well. They're quality and have the same ab dimming option. You can find them on sale on arrow.com every once in awhile
