Stretching, pot sizes.

Hey i grow 2 GHS' jack herers, the one was injured on seedling stage, it fell of my balcony.
Well it's survived and looks good so far, both of them are on 52 days of life.

This is my first grow and i always want to learn more and more to reach some good results on my next grows.

I'm using organic soil in with perlite a 5 Gallon pot for each of them(15" & 11" height), as fert i'm using 20/20/20 all purpose fert and seems they love it.
I'm doing some kind on lst on some branches to make them reach as much as more light available.
They have 12.5 hours of direct sunlight and about 1.5 hour not intense light of sun. We have sunrise on 6:10~ till 20:20.
Temperatures are great, about 78 at daytime and 65 at nighttime

Atm my plant is 12 inch tall and the injured one about 10 inch tall.

My questions are 2:

They look kinda short and bushy to me compared to others i've seen, well they're hybrid indica dominant. But are they in good size for their lifetime?

And the second and most critical, I'm planning to transplant them to some bigger pots, probably smartpots, in early june. What would be an ideal size for the pots, i want them to be the final pots till harvest, so i think they need a bigger one than 5 gal.

Looking for replies. Thank you.

the first question is as you answered, indicas tend to be more bushy.
though decreasing light intensity might help them to stretch, if you like.
bushy plants eventually, very susceptible to mold.
the second, it is totally depends on you.
how big the plant is going to be?
how long vegetative stage will be?

I plan to let them go as they need to, we have about ~60 until mid November so i won't rush them, i want them to get as biggest possible.
Vegetative stage will be all way natural, so i guess until mid August.
Would a 10-12 Gal pot be enough as a final pot?

By the way I chopped 1 branch of each one to force them show sex, they came from feminized seeds but i'm worried they might turn up in to hermies.
I did sprayed about an inch with water, put it in root hormone, and planted in in organic soil. What should i do about light in the beginning? Should i keep them in shade and give them 2-3 hours per day of direct sunlight early on morning on late afternoon?

You must live in Florida or San Diego

Youll need a biggest pot IMO. Pick up a 5 gallon bucket from Lowes

Does it matter where I live? Actually no, I don't live in Florida or San Diege or nowhere in US. I live in Greece ^_^.
As i told, I'm already using 5 gal pots, I'm looking for bigger to use as final pots and waiting for suggestions about size.

No it doesn't matter I was just making a comment about your weather :( eh if you need a bigger pot get one. I grew my 8' white widow in a 20gal. Really it depends go to a 7/10 gallon next. If your. Plant pots dry up fast you'll know it's time to move up

Thanks for the tip  Also, we probably have the same weather with Florida or San Diego, since we are on the same altitude and distance from the equator :D

Actually it's lovely, the only problem is the high humidity because of sea, the biggest distance from it is 90 miles from every place in Greece. Actually I live only 1.5 mile away from it.

I never did as a kid, we were forced to learn it and i was kinda reactionary to whatever i was forced to do. Nowadays i like it, but still not love it. :p

In case of weed, we're full of trash coming from Albania, full of seeds, leaves, branches and less bud(Price: 3-5€/gr). They also sell almost the same shit with no seeds as skunk for high prices(12-15€/gr). In both cases its brown and smells like shit, also it's full of ammonia to avoid police dogs.

Thats the main reason i started growing, to have my own clean weed with no chemicals and to avoid the street deals. I assume it's much safer to grow your own than dealing twice per week on the streets. Also on economic part, my plant just asks for water, treatment and patience.

I'm taking photos almost every day and i plan to make a detailed journal "from seed to bud" when i harvest them. Hope you'll like it.

Well i know it's kinda dumb to ask from other to recognize a male/female, but it's my first grow and i want a sensimilla grow, so i ask you to tell me. As i've told you i got 2 plants, one injured and one normal, the injured one started showing sex but it's on the beginning and i want to know fast what's if it's a male or female.

It seems a female to me but i want to be sure to get happy:p

Quality of pic's is not so good since i used my chinese phone to take it :p
