My plants are about 1 and a half weeks to two weeks old, but they seem to be stretching out a lot...is this because I have to keep unplugging my light?
this guy is correct.....listen to himIf your plants are streching you either do not have enough light or the light is not close enough to your plants and also your plants need a regular night cycle on a schedule to grow right. A timer is a must or you keeping a very tight eye on them. I can not stress enough how important a regularly maintained uniformed light cycle is to the health of your plants. Light creates the energy to produce the cells in your plant to alowe them to muture. Hope this helps! Puff, Puff, Pass 420!!!!!!
It doesn't have to add up to 24. Many growers use schedules such as 20/6 or 22/4 etc.24/0 works fine . . . as does 20/4 . . . 18/6, etc . . . I use 24/0.
As long as it adds up to 24, with the "on" time the higher amount.
