Stressed cannabis plant severe

Just got given 2 plants from a friend of mine 1 is mid flower and looks absolutely dead pretty sure it won't recover so just going to chuck it out.

The second is in veg and was used as a mum. Overall quite bushy apparently a few months old. Had/has fungus gnats flying off it and the outside of the plant is drooping and looks fried. Under the outer green leaves is lots of dead stems and leaves. Looks severely over watered. Wondering what I should do to try revive her and if its even worth my time.

Don't know much about them as I just got handed them today. I have my own few plants and I dont want them getting infested so trying to work out the best thing for it cheers everyone!

You could rescue the one that’s almost dead but it would be a huge rehab project. Suggest revegging the green one until it is normal and healthy. It could bear pretty well. But again time and electricity.

I would just take cuts and start over...
Got enough cuts as of right now so if I dont keep her around ill probably just end up killing it. They didn't even know the strain etc so no need to keep some random clone when I have proper strains etc. Was just wondering if she's worth rescuing and trying her in flower in a few weeks

Was thinking the same.

I know right??? They gave us some clones as you can see in the last pictures they are max 4cm and they didn't even cut the bottoms on an angle and the on a node spot. Assuming they have never done it before
Why not strip all the damaged leaves and keep the shoots that are still good.. grow em out a little, and take fresh cuts.

sometimes if you trim down the rootball and transplant it to new medium will really help the sick plant out, if you wanna preserve the genetics try that out

I would just toss em all. It's not worth the risk bringing unhealthy plants that almost surely have pests. It's so easy and cheap to order seeds and grow what you like without any pests and diseases. Clearly that grower Didnt give AF about his garden.

Trimmed the root ball right back and added some low fert potting mix to not shock her. Trimmed all the bad stuff off and a few un necessary growth points to help with the transplant and root trim.

Gonna try revive her with a small cfl and if she takes off ill give it to a mate that'll treat her right. Don't wanna contaminate my garden so gonna keep her well away.

Cheers everyone!

You gotta try strayfox, useful, AK bean brains, Ethos, Shoreline, Eso, Katsu, Very reasonably priced
fuck ethos and his boring crosses, woman beating fucking cannabis breeder that guy. Stop recommending ethos. They're fucking trash in terms of quality and morals. All of his crosses have the same damn thing are come out the same damn thing.... hermies for days too.

I've never paid 200$...but I pay 100 regularly...if I get one good plant tho outta the pack it justifies the purchase n pays for itself easily
Strayfox, Eso and Shoreline and useful are half that price. The AKBB are 60$

As far as Ethos goes, ive grown out 2 packs and found a keeper in both packs..zero herms on anything from them. I can't personally vouch on any breeders personal life or moral compass as I don't know them.

You don't need to know him to know his criminal history and arrest record.

It's nasty and very much against what cannabis is suppose to represent. Each to there own. Plenty other good breeders to support imo.
