I feel you man. That's the way it was growing up. Its because a lot of times people that are growing just to sell it and make money, want their buds to be as big as possible so they let them get completely amber and even sometimes let them get over ripe with the hope that they will get more weight. A lot of times the people growing it have no intention of smoking it, so they do not give two fucks about the high as long as it looks decent. A late harvest gives you less thc and a higher concentration of cbn's and cbd's, hence your couch lock, lazy stoner bud. I like couch lock sometimes, but mostly i like the head high, smoking at work and getting shit done kind of bud.

mmmmm pineapple.....

Around here its 50/50, but mostly my buddies has been hooking me up with mind fucking sativas. If I get an indica id say most of the time its absolute fire.

Thank goodness for the goodness.

Here you will pretty much never see a pure sativa. Its always pure indica, indica heavy, 50/50, or sativa heavy. I doubt most people have ever smoked a pure sativa, at least in the NW. Here they have to be grown inside because they take so long outside and our growing season just isn't long enough. It can be grown here, but the chances of mold and rain ending your season are very, very high.

Here in the UK, Sativa is pretty much all we get. But the prices are ridiculous, averages £8 a gram if you just buy less than 7g. Which is why I grow my own now, I was spending £1500 a year minimum. oops... sorry for the derail! We live in harsh economic times.
