Strawberry Blue___Quest to never pay for bud again!

Bad idea about the cold water. It's going to do nothing but cause un-necessary stress. My strawberry Blue from past days actually had a blue hue at the end.

I've grown many different strains and strawberry blue was one of the first things I ever ordered from Attitude.. was very excited about it from the description and just from trying to imagine what it was like. & I did like it. I didn't get the strawberry smell till towards the very end. I'd say the smoke was good.. I'd give it a 6 outta 10. I would reccomend tho if you want to grow some strains with top notch fruity smells and have all around excellent quality and potency to look at TGA's gear. Chernobyl, Space Queen, and Jacks Cleaner are excellent. Also I understand there's a strawberrry alien kush from dankhouse that is supposed to be very highly regarded.

I will definitely do a follow up post, it always takes me a week or two to clear my head from all the post harvest activities but I'll get it in.

Thanks for the info. It's funny that the 3 strains you mentioned were some of my favorites at the local shop before they shut down. Especially the Jacks Cleaner. What makes you give the SB a 6? I'm very excited to see how it all turns out. I'm seeing a lot of crystals and good size colas. It looks almost as good as the SLH I grew, definitely going to yield more. Next round I haven't decided between Reserva Privada Julius Ceaser or G13 Sour Candy, both sound pretty tasty to me.

Oh and I love the avatar.

I would only give it a 6 outta 10 because there's so much better stuff out there. I'll never buy anything World of Seeds again. Not when you can buy a pack from the likes of TGA, Dankhouse, House of Funk, Bodhi, Rare Dankness, Pisces, etc for not much more.

nooooo ...it's not going to purple your plant at all. You can run the risk of just destroying the root system if it's too cold but that's hard to do really.

but i watered with cold water for most of last winter. It didn't seem like it hurt much .. but i think tepid water would've given me better results as far as the uptake of water to the plant. The only reason i was watering cold is because.. from being a cook.. i have a hard time determining whether things are too hot or cold by touch.. so i leaned towards the too cold side.

Nightime temps will be the only thing to bring out any color, but to be honest ... i never saw an indication that SB had the potential to become a color bomb like other plants.. that's just my opinion on the color changing properties of SB. also if it had a high potential for the genes to gain purple,or colors, i think the breeder would state it in the description.

Thanks for the reply's. Not going to waste my time with cold water. I once tried food coloring in the water when I was a teenager, didn't work either lol.

great suggestions batman .... but i have to disagree with you on the 6 rating. IMO...and maybe the bud i get isn't up to par with yours but my plant was extremely potent, sativa dominant, tasty stinky goodness .... i would surely rate it at a high 7-8. JMO
