it looks like a nute deficiency to me. but it looks way too young to be needing nutes yet. have you fed it anything?

and im pretty sure you cant tell how much nutes are in soil just by looking at it. im open to listening if you can tell me how though.

It's turning brown? huh......well, I'm suprised it didn't turn yellow first. could be mold? mites? looks like your soil has good drainage. What are you using?

That looks like MG soil probably 3mo slow feed terrible for maryjane especially seedlings. you dont need nutes to the 3rd or 4th node. I am assuming you are using distilled or RO water and that the water is PH'd correctly. Also PH the run off when you water

In my opinion this is a phosphorus deficiency based on the purpleish-black necrotic (dead) blothces. The leaves will later turn black and bronzish-purple and dry out. The yield will be affected and the plant is more suceptible to insect and fungus.if you lower the ph to 6 to 7 for clay soils and 5.5 to 6 in potting soils so the phosphorus will become availiable.

Anyone think it could be due to the light being too close? It actually has no nutes yet. Any ideas? Also its wet with jesus water from the skies because it was outdoor for a while.
It has been given no nutes atm and the soil used has never given it any nutes. It only got like that when I put it indoor and the light was a little close (20,000 lumen CFL) 1.5-2 inch proximity :O

could be. sometimes leaves will turn yellowish/brown if too close to a light and they get burnt. but ive gotten that same look from cfl's being too close. its just the pattern looks wierd to be from heat.
