Hmmm, kinda looks like sunblock was on the yellow parts.
Do you give your pots a 1/4 turn every few days to even out the light distribution.

yah I was turning them. turned out to have sacks so I got rid of it. Strange color though, maybe I spilled bleach on it.

Pretty odd. As long as the new growth is ok I wouldn't stress about it. Also, make sure that your containers and grow medium are draining well.

i have a couple with lower branches turning yellow and one with the edges of a couple leaves yellowing. I hadent given any nutrients after almost 4 weeks of veg. I recently began foilar feeding with some flowering nutes and a nitrogen concentrate they gave me at the hydro shop. Have you been feeding them? From what i know of it could be a nitrogen deficency, or your PH is to high.

my pH is pretty high. I don't have a kit or pH down and am using tap water. The water company reports an 8.3 for tap water

I have higher ph on my tap water also. The addition of nutes sometimes help bring it down. I had the same prob when I wasn't feeding could have been nitro def but I think it was ph too high
