Strange new growth!

I'm in week 6/7 of flowering and the tops of 3/4 of my colas are experiencing new growth. It's like the stem is continuing to grow with new flowers and single leaf growth. I bumped my timer during watering causing 1 of my two light to stay on for about an hour to an hour and 15 min longer then the other. It may have been this way for 4 days or so. It's since been fixed for almost 4 days now. Looks like most of the new grow has stalled and seems to be filling in. What have I done and did I destroy my crop? Can you fix a light leak issue like the one I had or are these babies toast? I tried search the forum high and low so I apologize ahead of time if this has been answered before.

Thanks brother. I did a ton of searching regarding foxtailing but I just wasn't 100% sure so I put it out there. My lights are a good distance away from the tops so I'm thinking it may have been caused from heat which has since been mitigated.

Some Sativa strains foxtail anyway , I have it on one of mine and I do not have a heat issue ,
some ppl like it others do not , I personally could live without it ....
