strange growths on roots of dying cannabis plant!! help

a super goji haze plant i have growing outdoors in open soil has been slowing taking a turn for the worst, in the last few weeks growth has slowed down and its been yellowing from the bottom up. was digging around the roots today and noticed all the roots had the same little growths on them never seen it be for and im thinking it could have something to do with the plant not doing good. anyone ever see this be for??

What does it smell like? What does the texture feel like? Is it possible some kind of weed killer is in that soil? Is there any dirt with this on it? I have more questions than answers. Wish I could help. Maybe somebody can get it with this information.

it has no kind of smell, not slimy its not root rot or anything like that. it seems to be made of the root fibers it self, they are super hard the root was very hard and stiff to. when i cut the growths open it had like a build up of root fiber or something im going to get a better camera tomorrow and take more pictures. for sure very strange

That is weird. The appearence of root fiber like. I hope it never happens again.

it has me a bit on edge cause ive got 10 others..... all looking very strong so far and the roots are looking healthy so thats good

i do grow organic and i do use xtream gardening's azos with is a a nitrogen fixating bacteria, but none of my other plants have the growths on the roots an you would think if they were caused from the azos it would be a super healthy plant... i did notice this morning a few leafs with yellow molting more and more leafs are starting to do it not to sure.... here is a few pics.not to sure what could be going on with the poor thing

have you guys ever seen or heard of nodules formed from rhizobia bacteria and cannabis plants??? i have heard of them but have never really seen or heard anyone talk about them and cannabis plants???

its for sure not rot root she only gets watered every 2-4 days and when the plants start to look thirsty. i live in fresno its 95+ every day and 20% humidity on a high day, the roots get plenty of dry time.. and the roots are not slimy and they have no smell. what do you mean by bennies?? beans as in seeds???

bennies are beneficial additives, mycochorizae, lactobacillus, living things that improve the health of your plant in general and your root system in particular.
most people use a "tea" on a regular schedule, to add mycochorizae, trichoderma, lactobacillus, and other bacteria that all help out your root system, breaking down dead organic matter and nutrients into smaller particles that are easier for your plants to absorb, and displacing any harmful bacteria that may be present. add some humic acid and vitamin B complex and your roots will explode.

how often you water them has nothing to do with whether or not you get root rot. Bennies are beneficial bacteria that work against harmful bacteria and benefit plant health. You could also run a sterilizer if you are not using organics. But it definitely looks like the start of root rot

yes i use xtreme gardening mykos, azos and their teas, i also have a compost tumbler that ive had going for 5 years now, i make a tea with that compost from it ounce a month and ive made a few seed sprout teas as well this year.

if you're convinced its root rot, i'd get something like

then i'd water with hydrogen peroxide mixed in on two consecutive days, then a day later i'd use the products above . mixed with a big spoon of molasses, to re-establish a colony of good bennies

how often and how much water is given has everything to do with root rot... root rot is caused from anaerobic bacteria that flourish in low oxygen environments.. if the soil is wet all the time their is not an exchange of oxygen in the soils pores these plants get plenty of dry time trust me...

yeah, if your soil is heavy it might be a good idea to mix in some perlite, roots really need air, if the soil is packed down hard they have a hard time breathing

i mix in a little pro mix and lots of lava rock and i happen to have a really high porosity soil it has a high amount of sand, with just a little clay and humus.

i dont disagree the symptoms point too to much water, that was my first guess and i did back off by a few gallons every watering but it didn't seem to improve i guess i should of put that in the first post. and ive never had a problem like this in the past in the same soil and i haven't changed how i water.
