Strange Growth Patterns

A plant that was attacked as a seedling is showing some really strange morphology. It has a leaf that appears to be two leaves fused together, with a bipartate section and upper and lower sections.

The unusually wide stems and odd branching of leaves and shoots on the two main arms of the plant seems to indicate there are two shoots growing together in each arm. It's really interesting!

I have had a autoflower like this and it also "topped" itself as well, when so many of these plants have been crossed and bred, it's likely genetic freaks will be coming out all the time.

I don't think it's genetic, as a seedling this thing had something (like a slug) bit off one of its cotyledons, and it took a long time to show shoots. It grew one really long true leaf as its first, and the two main shoots emerged afterwards. I think because it was bitten early on and unable to grow, a lot of cells that would ordinarily grow out and separate were fused down at the base. Here's a bonus pic from when it was younger. One of my seedlings tipped in its pot outdoors earlier this year, and layed there for a day or so before I found it. It had been bitten up bad by the bugs from laying down, but it has recovered and is doing just as well as the others.

After it's accident, it went straight from single fingered leaves to 4/5 fingers, with the leaves strangely webbed and twisted together, it stopped after a while but it was interesting to see how the stress affected the young plant.

I definitely listen to what my plants are telling me, but I don't think any of them have ever gone as far as to flip me the bird ;)
