Zkittlez Cake and Gush Mintz I think have god awful highs, they have a potent narcotic high but it doesn’t really feel too good, just makes me feel kinda disabled for a while

Purple Punch and Cookies and Cream straight up don’t get me high at all

I think more in terms of dealing with a handful of reputable breeders than searching out strains. There is a chronic lack of standardization and consistency in the naming of strains, largely do to money and hype. Add to this peoples subjective opinions of the effects of a given strain, shared through social media, the names become meaningless. Most cannabis strains were "created" within the last 25 years. Find a breeder who's stuff does what they say!

I've seen most of the things I tend to avoid mentioned here already but for me it is,
1. Autoflowers
2. Lemon Terps - straight lemon without any nuances may as well be cardboard for me
3. All the Cardboard strains that are bred for appearance and potency, usually anything with the word 'white' in its name

Amen! I had forgotten both the lemon and the autoflower experiences I have had!

No auto has ever gotten me properly high. Like a whisper of a buzz, but always felt hollow.

Couldn’t agree more on some of the modern hybrids. All of those Leafly ‘Strain of the Year’ winners over the years (Jealousy, Permanent Marker etc), they are all exactly the same. Flat, listless and Jeebus H. Quisp, there are other terpenes beyond Caryophyllene.

I like pretty much anything that is terpy. If it doesn't have a good taste, or no taste at all I'm over it. I think I might be in the minority where I don't really smoke for the high anymore. It takes so much to get me high at this point that I pretty much just smoke for flavor. I also don't really smoke autos either. Cardboard terps suck!

Cheese; blue cheese or any hybrid of it.

Blue cheese is the best out of them and I still hate it.

I don't find it to be strong; very average in every category....didn't like the high from it... and it doesn't look special either.....shit is mids to me.
