I've cloned 16 Big Bang and all besides one made it. Took about two weeks. I used a heated propagator.

The one didn't make it because I knocked it and moved it away from the rockwool.

here is your answer, how about posting everything you do & see if someone can figure it out? since you are cloning hydro, you need to know PH,temps, feeding of the mother before taking a clone, light type, rooting hormone used ect.
Ph between 5.5 and 6.0. Mothers in DWC(wondering if that might be a prob as its always got nitrogen in her.res temp is at 22. I use a single 23w cfl on 24/7 and about a foot away from cloner. No hormone used(yet) but I do use jumpstart in my res. Its a initial rooting excelerator.my cuts r on 45s, some I have slitted up the stem like shown jorges MH book. Do I need to scrape the sides with a cloner? I heard no. Anyother details needed?

Thnx. I have big bang growing now. I have taken 1 cutting off her and she was the first to root. And she rooted good. I was jus gonna flower that strain but may jus keep her around if she roots fast

all sounds good
sterile blade? as wonderinaliceland stated,do you do a final cut underwater?
rooting hormone might help.
sorry but I dont have much experiance cloning as I have a few friends who grow on a larger scale than me & can get clones w/ a phone call.

Right now I am getting 100% w/ DNA Genetics Hasplant x Haze.

Ive tried a bunch of cloning methods and have found what works best for me.
I use a small bubble cloner pictured here w/ a single 23 watt CFl for light, theres a heater in the cloner to keep the water from getting cold:

This pic is a clone at 4 days in the cloner, im pretty happy. At around 14 days they are ready for transplant

i cut the clones, (not underwater) and throw them in the cloner. I only mist 2 times a day and there is no dome. The temp is around 80 and the water stays around room temp.

I break some of the "rules" (i use the same razor blade that I use to make hash, cut clones in air not water, no dome etc) but you cant argue w/ 100% success :-)
