Strains that have disappeared

I was thinking the other day, based on our collective experience and knowledge on all things cannabis, what strains just aren't around anymore?

And if they get mentioned and someone knows it's out there, we shall cross it off the search list.

I don't want this thread to get outta hand, and hope that it won't go there. I just thought it would be a good thread to ponder the whereabouts of some killer ganja that use to be in circulation.

Hope this thread isn't clutter, but a fun retrospective look back on old school strains that just seem to have fallen off the map.

I know it has to be out there, and I know it's sad to actually want a non packaged bud, beasters.

But I wish could be extinct, none really because all cannabis can be useful. I never wanna see mexican swag ever again.

There used to be a lot of Black Alaskan around here in Maine.
It was pretty much what everyone grew outdoors for years.
Haven't seen it since M.O.B blew up 5 years ago..

I live in central Maine near Farmington, Lewiston/Auburn area.
This was back when I was young and wasn't that into cannabis, but I remember it had alternating leaves on the buds of dark purple almost black and green. Also the hairs were pink.
Smell was earthy/dank and the high was space out, confused and trippy.
If I had to guess, I'd say it was a fast flowering sativa with a little indica. Don't remember if I ever saw one growing, just the buds.

I think road kill still exists but is tightly held. I actually don't really believe anything has gone extinct. It's a matter of availability. I know there are amazing Sensi Star plants out there for example, but I'm not sure they can still be found in seed form.

The roadkill skunks still around. That straight gasoline diesel shit that burns your chest, its there too.
I haven't seen that good pine in probly a decade, and my area used to be famous for it. But I'm pretty sure nothing is lost, just gotta find it.

here's a hybrid:

'Freedom of Seeds Romberry was created through crossing 2 legendary strains Romulan + Blueberry , Romulan is a legendary strain from Canada and is a medicinal favourite. Over 30 years old, and very well known for its overwhelming narcotic and everlasting high. with lots of crystal covered dense buds with a strong pine smell. Highly recommended medicinal strain. Crossed with a very tasty Blueberry for its rich fruity taste softness and aroma. Now you have a Blueberry with a great punch that will put you on your ass from the Romulan side, and will satisfy any one who's been disappointed with the mildness of a Blueberry high. A very fast flowering finish indoors 50 days.'

Space Queen by TGA is cindy 99 x Romulan.
I feel like a lot of the clone only strains are gone, just S1's, hybrids and crosses left.
