DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide) is a polar aprotic solvent. What it does is take the drug across the integument (skin) barrier. It is a delivery agent that topicals need. I used it with distillate to treat a basal cell carcinoma and actinic keratosis. Turns out it could not tumor reduce but it did stop tumor growth and it was effective on all actinic keratosis which was the precursor to basal cell CA.

You are very welcome. If you get the 70/30 Aloe Vera Gel DMSO it mixes a easier. I keep mine in the fridge so it doesn't melt. Just what gets on my fingers when I rub it is all it usually takes to ease a joint. One cup of this will last a long time.

Me, too. One doctor mentioned that all it takes is a tincture sprayed on the basal cell and let the alcohol dry. He said the sticky that is left is what's needed. That wasn't what the article was about so that's all he said. Been looking for more info on that but haven't found it. If anyone knows something about it I'd sure like to know.
When I was doing mine I put a little DMSO my finger and rubbed it in. Anyhow, twice it got a little hard scab-like bump that finally came off. It felt a little like a bite and then was gone.

That's what I'm trying this year. Got 6 pot plants and a pantry full and am growing 6 hemp plants just for the CBD. Got tired of being stoned 24/7 so I'm trying to mix something that's a little more forgiving.

Had some vb ghani/ skunk back around 2000 after major lower back surgery and it was 10x better than any of the narcotics I was given. No comparison really. The skunk Actually allowed me to get up and walk around pain free which was amazing. Good luck, hope you fou some relief!

That's excellent to hear it was at least partially effective. I have heard a lot of great successes using full-extract cannabis oil on BCCs, it's possible the distillate was only able to stop the tumor growth because it was lacking other cannabinoids and terpenes, but that's only a theory and some BCCs are resistant to all kinds of cannabis products. The AK response is promising though. Do you happen to know the cannabinoid/terpene profile of the distillate you had?
Not specifically, this was years ago but I grow, hunt and breed pain relief strains so it was a high THC strain that I was using back then. Likely either Kosher Kush, Pre 98 Bubba Kush or GG#4 or possibly even a Jack Herer or C99.
