I plan on starting a grow in spring along with my autoflowers.i just wanted to have a higher yeilding strain cuz autos dont tend 2 yeild much or have a good variety. i need a strain that does well in heat, is easy to grow, and can be placed in a pot. in east texas it rains frequently in spring and has moderate high humidity. are there any strains yall know of that would do well in this situation?

i should also add the plant needs to be relatively small, with as little odor as possible. i mean it can smell, but it should blend with the smell of other plants around it without too much of a skunky odor.

lol bro the rains in spring here in TX are fuckin ridiculous i just bought a house and was thinking the same thing...I was looking BCBD God Bud it 75% 25% indica so it should be fairly short its also crossed with Hawaiian so it should be able to withstand the heat...but i was thinkin start them inside move them outside after May when the rain slows a little bit in NO TX shits always flooding...

But check out a couple of these may give you some ideas
BCBD - BC Pinewarp - Texada Timewarp x Purple Pineberry
BCBD - BC Blueberry
BCBD - BC Mango - KC Mango x BC Mango

i just happened to be on there site there are plenty others...Im gonna stay tuned on this i would like to hear a few also...

dude i know what you mean itll rain like fukin crazy every other day but then its sunny like 10 mins later. what do u think would happen if i put a foil cone in the pot and around the stem that would run the water off the soil and onto the ground?

All the strains should do well in texas. It does not freeze until dec. You are going to be watering them not tryn to keep water out.

you dont seem to understand, its literally like a friggin rainforest, as hot and humid as one, in texas during spring. it rains constantly. i might try the bc bud ones they seem like a good one maybe the texada timewarp.

if you want a strain to live through the heat.. you are going to want a hardy sativa. indicas wont cut it if its too hot. also rain wont matter as long as its not during the flowering stage of the plant because then you get bud rot. you can get a sativa and train it, top it, bend it, etc.. you cant really have a big yield if you want a small plant.. but an indica WOULD give you better yield for the space it occupies but still would be harder to take care of and it would def. not be optimal conditions for one. look for heat resistant strains because that is def. going to be the biggest issue in texas lol. i think kushberry is indica dom. and they say is very heat resistant. :fire:

since you live that far south i would think u should plant something with a longer flowering time like an equatorial sativa strain that does well in warm weatcher to get some really uplifting buds. some sort of haze strain:bigjoint:

get a sativa. sour diesel, mauwi wowi, kali mist, any haze variation is good too.
or even get a sativa dominant strain with a some indica. its all good. rain is good bro, you just dont want mold.

dont plant too early either. they might bud in the spring and you wont get big plants.

im from sotex.

im doing a 75% strawberry haze X 25% unknown indica and it loves the heat and dont worry to much about the rain, normally it is the high winds that comes with the rains in north east Texas that will hurt your small plants. dont forgit it is a weed!
