Strain Question

I am starting one of my first grows with a 250 mh and I have the watering thing under control (again thanks to all who helped me out) but I was woundering if anyone else has grown jack the ripper before. I have 5 successful seedlings and 1 who is doing very well. My question is does anyone have an pointers or any "tricks", if you will, to growing this particuar strain?

Yes - don't over water, don't over fertilize. Start them and repot them using quality medium - if soil; go foxfarm or black gold. You need those roots to be aggressive. You may get a couple males. Be patient - its a process. Let them go a few months (yes) to about 20 inch and you will see them pre flower. Big mistake is going 12/12 to soon and thus you get far less yield and when your growing quality you need TIME. Make sure you grow Jack as close to the lights as you can do you assure that solid result.

You may want to consider 400W lights if your growing 4 in 5 gal pots if your looking to maximize your plants potential.

What would be a good distance between the light and plant? Like 12"?

For a 400W light anywhere from 12" to 18" use the back of your hand for a guide. If your hand is hot it too hot for your plants. Make sure you got air movement.
