Considering growing "big bud" from sensi seeds.
I know it's a old strain so quite a few of you would've grew it years ago.

Does it live up to it's name?
Do you get really big buds?
Are they usually dense/solid? I saw a picture and the bud looks hairy and airy

What sort of yield range would 1 be looking at

Generally speaking, Big Bud is what I'd call a "breeder's strain", as it's often used to add heft to other strains in a cross. Bud density could largely depend on your growing conditions; have good airflow and movement, and have great light intensity

I'll give it a blast then, light won't be a problem lol running omega led 630w for veg then adding in my gavita pro 1150w dual spectrum for the flower.
Iws flood and drain, should hopefully hit some decent numbers (fingers crossed)

Look at Big Bad Wolf on CSI Humboldt website. Large yield and certainly leaps and bounds better smoke than Big Bud which isn't the original these days.

Plus the freebies from CSI are insane. There is a CSI thread here with pics.

Try critical mass. Its a more modern version of big bud. Stinks strong, thick buds, lots of resin and big yields. Might be more to your liking.
Ps. In your iws you should get some big fat yields. Make sure your filters are good cus it can stink bad too.

To me Big Bud was bland and lacking potency. I did not enjoy growing it. Maybe if fat buds are your biggest goal look into Critical strains, Critical Mass like @TheWholeTruth said or Critical Bilbo (fast flowering (not autoflower) strain) and or Bubba's Gift, MAC Muffin by Tastebuds grows donkeys.

Yeah i read it was a bit down in the potency side of things.
I'll have a look into the critical strains

I tell you what, Northern lights can pump out some huge buds and people still love the flavour.

Blue dream yields well and is a nice smoke.

Some of the dr kriplin stuff like incredible bulk will yield amazing , not as tasty as some but better than big bud.

I've had some amazing yields from barney's farm blue cheese too.

Round my way people won't even take stardog or zkittles anymore. I blame the fussy youngens with their Instagram heroes..
