Storing seeds

What is the best way to store seeds? Will be using them in about 8 weeks. I was told to vaccum seal them so they are airtight and keep them in a cool dry place. Will this crush the seeds when all the air is sucked out.

In 8 weeks? Just keep them somewhere cool/dry/dark.

The vacuum sealer may be overkill. An old Altoidsor film container is where I keep mine unless I wont use them for a long time...Then its in the freezer they go.

Keeping them in a cold, dark place will work well enough. Sucking the air out of it shouldn't hurt it though.
