Storing cuttings

How long is it possible to keep a cutting for clones before you prep it for rockwool, soil, etc?

I took over a decade off from growing and forgot a few things. I think i used to put them in a certain ph water and then the fridge but I might be remembering that wrong too.

I kept some in the fridge for 100+ days and then rooted them.

Seriously!? Thats freaking awesome!! What ph did you store them in? Anything special that needs to be done through the process?

Oops, just seeing the Blueberry cupcake information. That's helpful! Curious about ph...

So you don't actually put them in water when you put them in the fridge? You want them dry?

I stored some for up to 10 weeks in a ziplock bag in the bottom of the fridge.

There was a little mould on some leafs but for the most part they were ok after a spray with H202, they rooted without too much trouble iirc?

AFAIK, it's possible to keep small clones preserved indefinitely. Perpetually transferring them over and over into new sterile tissue culture media jars every so often, being careful not to get contamination.
