Storing cannabis in plastic vs glass

jars. or mylar bags for transportation :D
but once i've met a guy and he told me that the best way to store weed is to freeze it. i can't even imagine it

I normally store in glass with hygrometers but i have also been recently experimenting with grove bags and they're treating me well.

Curious, do grove bags prevent the need for burping? In a few months, I may find myself needing to travel for a week while my harvest cures. Looking for a solution to daily burping.
