Storing BUDS??

I have always kept my buds in my freezer, But I have never stored them more then 3-4 months. This go around I will be storeing them much longer.

Do you guys think it would be better to use a vacum seal and put them in the frig? Meat, fish, most everything only last so long in a freezer. and even then freezing takes away of the quality.

Suggestions???

Not sure if it has anything to do with it at all. Maybe a suggestion to look into is this. I knew a person once that would go quail hunting, when he returned he finished cleaning them. He got ziplock freezer bags and filled it with water and dropped a quail in the bag then zipped it up and threw it in the freezer until he was ready to eat it. Each bird was actually frozen inside of water, definetly eliminating freezer burn for one thing I could see.

lol... great idea for quail... not such a great idea for buds...

vacuum seal and freeze should be fine. I know my friend used to seal his like that, and as far as I know he didnt have any probs.

yeh if its vaccum sealed, it should be kl. the only thing i would personally be weary about is that, the skunk may have some moisture inside the buds which will itself freeze, and thawing it out might damage the buds.

id vaccum seal it a couple of times and bury that shit.i dont see what could damage it there.....

I was thinking that it would be better to vacum seal it and refrigerate it. I guess i will just stick to the freezer, but this time I will get a vaum sealer machine.

Thanks everyone for your input,

The reason you seal food and such and then bury it in the ground is to keep it cool.. Not frozen.. but cool and dark.. so As I was thinking,,, friging would be better then freezing.

i would vaccum seal them and keep them in the fridge. keeping them in the freezer can cause the trichomes to split and biodegrade faster. thats just my advice but definitly vaccum seal them. peace and happy token!
