Hey guys I was wondering if there was some kind of weather proof safe thats is smell proof and that i can store a lot of bud in and that i can bury into the ground to keep safe and unnoticed and when i say burry i mean like keep it so just the opening part is at the surface so i can cover it up with leaves and go and open it and get bud whenevrr i need it. The woods is right behind my house a 5 second walk. Let me know

I'd pick that safe right out of the ground ... dude , get a few kitchen canisters and fill them then put them in a closet or basement

well i live in a small house and no one in my family can know about it so i figured if no one knew about it and it was in the ground in a safe and very hidden under like a fake sheet of leaves a dirt and sticks that i could attach to like a carboard sheet it would be really safe. Cuz i mean i live in a safe neighborhoood no one would expect to go in my little woods and look for a safe in the ground

yea i think if you get a good sized weather proof box it is a great idea for storage. Im in Northwest Indiana anyone know how bud grows outdoors out here?

I use a DIY system to hide a variety of things. Buy some PVC pipe in the diameter you require...heavy duty plumber's cement for PVC...two threaded end pieces...and two matching threaded caps. The assembly concept should be pretty obvious. If you require constant access, bury the completed unit vertically with one end appx. one inch above ground...and camo appropriately for the area.

Also, remember if you use this method, do not make the tube longer than your arm in case items fall to the bottom.

One other thing, if your are keeping a stash in a humid environment...use a gun safe descicant block to keep things from molding. The good ones can be reused over and over again by drying them out in the oven.

i have 10 plants will all the finished products fit in a 3ft pvc pipe, thats why i was thinking a decent size safe. I have 400 dollars i can spend a a good safe and then just bury it. but pvc pipe is a great and cheap idea if it will all fit. I guess i could make like 4 pipes

With that much stash, I would definately split up the caches for security reasons. The deciding factor will be how you package and the diameter of the PVC pipe. Four 3ft pipes at 5in diameter should work.

My tiny personal stash is in a similar one that I hide in a harsh environment when away from home...always fine...I stack Ball canning jars inside mine. Also good for money, ammo, valuables, etc...I use various different sizes at my rural cabin to safeguard items.

only thing with pvc will i have to worry about when it rains, about it getting all nasty in there. And bugs. I live in indiana so we get a lot of rain and have a ton of bugs.

if you need to be so secretive about your bud not being seen how do you expect to smoke it? Red eyes and skunky-clothes don't lie, my friend. Just wondering...

If you assemble correctly, it is absolutely water tight...and air tight depending on the quality of the seal on the threaded cap section. Remember, these parts are used in septic and sewer in your baesment and yard, so leakage is not a prob. The only real moisture prob would be from humid air being trapped inside or if you don't close the cap tight enough...add descicant.

And, bugs? Not really a prob unless you are burying it in an ant farm :) Seal your stash in heavy duty freezer zip locks or Seal-a-Meal bags.

Anyway, good luck :peace:
