Hoping to get some constructive criticism. every plant I grow gets better and better. still hit a bit of tip burn on this one, I upgraded lights and tent about a week ago, she stressed a little in her new home, been lowering the lights a little every day. I'm excited to start a new grow in this tent

Nice! If your using microbes in the soil, give her 1 tbsp/gallon of unsulfered blackstrap molasses, once per week. She'll take on a subtle sweet aroma and this could help accentuate any underlying terpene she may be capable of. Her final smell will be obvious by harvest but can change too, after the cure
I'm using ffhf soil with a lot of perlite added...I haven't used molasses this grow, but i have on previous. Is a product like Bembe from fox farms a better substitute for molasses? that's what i was using in this grow. I follow the FF feeding schedule at half strength and Bembe seems like it could be a sub for molasses, it even smells similar. i skip the flowers kiss, kangaroots, microbe brew, and wholey mackeral on the FF schedule

I think I’d just use molasses. On recommendation from my grow shop, I to am using happy frog soil along with happy frog fruit and flower 4-9-3, and have topped dressed once with worm casting last week. I will top dress one more time with fruit and flower, and use a little molasses, and that should do it. Easy. Mine today on day 28 of 12/12.

sexy looking plant so far, nice long colas, those will fill in nicely! I've gotten mixed answers about molasses, I'd rather not take the chance of disturbing the microbes at all with it. i looked it up and apparently Bembe from FF is 10% molasses

The microbes will go nuts wit molasses. But too much isn't good. If your already using a carb load there's no need for more it can actually cause an over abundance of bacteria. If you allow your soil to dry out a little bit it can swing the pH up from the excessive enzyme. Stick with your current nutrient management.

Since your already utilizing the benefits of microbes with this grow, go the rest of the way with full organic on the next. I grow strictly organic/veganic. I make my own fertilizer, soil and compost. I farm worms and culture various bacterium, 3 strains of trichoderma and my worm bins have mycorizhal fungi that create fruit bodies (mushrooms) and deposit more spores. True organics is all about microbiology. The basic fundamentals of it are simple... feed the microbes and they feed the plant. No more worries about pH, or over feeding. Watering is a bit more strict and important to maintain a constant hydration level. If your soil dries out, your plants have a harder time assimilating nutrient and the microbes slow down, pH can rise. But.... once you water again everything goes back the way it was.
I do soil testing on NPK and pH, my soil is always 6.5 - 6.8pH, everytime!
Right now according to my test results, I'm nitrogen depleted. Yet I have zero fading.
I would like to head in that direction. so many choices with growing. I own a small landscaping business so i could easily dedicate a back section of my shop's lot to make my own organic soil and compost. actually, I think I'll start it up this spring. very beautiful plants btw! I had my new light too close initially, so i raised it and have lowered it everyday to where it is staying. IMO, spiderfarmer's hanging distance recommendations are wrong, at least for this light. I probably should've left her to finish where i started her but I was impatient, I think a few of the tips of my buds are starting to foxtail a bit.

I use led also and had to learn all about ppfd and DLI. The manufacturers give a good baseline with distances based on their maps but some plants are less tolerant. I have some of my tallest colas showing what looks like nutrient burn on a few large fans. Lights are 12- 18" away. That's my fault for not maintaining an even canopy, but they're just a handful leaves affected.
I think foxtailing is a combination of high light and heat. Some people like the look, others don't. I don't think it affects potency tho, just looks different.
