my light is about 100 cm from the tops of the plants, I found this to be good with my lights cuz at about 50 cm they kinda tucker out and decide that its all they want to do, I keep it about 100 cm and I'm waiting for them to get to around the 50 cm mark so I can raise the lights again, or are they looking streached?

They are looking gr8.... not stretched.... you're doing well :^)

no they dont look stretched, i just didnt see the light in the pic..there looking good...

Of course, I put in 1 capfull every 2 weeks seemed to work really well but now I need more superthrive, I've been thinking of picking up a gallon jug of superthrive, I'm so happy how well they are jumping up and I can see them grow more and more every week, I have a couple of q's when can you sex? thery are getting some leaves on the steam is it between those that I look for the sex, or do I have to wait longer? I have 1 that is doing alternating branches now, and the other 2 haven't started alternating but the one I'm trying to sex is the one with big leaves on the branch, and yes I know I'm babbeling so much for being stoned and typing this LOL

Yes, where you want to look is at the nodes,

You are lookin for pistils (+female), or pollen sacks (lil balls--male)

This will be very clear, for most strains, w/in the first week or 2 of flower (12/12)--(if i remember correctly)
as soon as you see balls, get them away from your girls (unless you want more seeds)

For some strains, once a good amount of nodes are estab. or the plant has vegged for several weeks, you can often see signs of female sex early...

It has been a loong time since I've done this--you may want to keep asking others so you can get better info....good luck

Theres a frequently asked questions thread in the Newbie section that should answer the basic questions you have. Anyways great job so far SD! How long do you plan to veg before you flower them? Also some growers flower their plants till they show sex, and then go back to veging them.

sweet, I don't see any pollin balls yet, just leaves, even on the nodes, there are some white areas right below the leaves but I can't tell if they are pistils, I will start 12/12 they have been vegging for about a week now, I was going to veg for 2 *this is the 2nd wee* doing 18/8 on the light cycle and when the light is off is where I notice most of the growth. I'm going to take 1 cutting from each plant tonight and stick them in the 3 holes that don't have anything in it right now but if I switch to 12/12 on sunday I don't think I'm going to take the cuttings.

so heres some pix of the babies. I just raised the light more, I've been putting nothing but bloom and micro in the reservoir. should I do some cuttings in the other cups or wait till later? Also I have some pictures of the nodes on them, my partner thinks they are males but I think they are females, so if anyone can help if they can now. Also if I have a herm plant and I take a cutting of the female portion will the new plant be female? all the nodes look the same on the plants look the same

Looking good.... I don't think they have showed their sex yet...... at least not that I can see...if you get a hermie (I say) dont take cuttings,,unless its your only option... the cuttings will be hermie too,,,,, whatever branch was used.............. :^)

so new update, my partner and I broke up, after a year together he decided to ignore me and treat me like shit so I called him out on it and he dumped me, and since the hydro system was his bday present I left it with him, but a good thing about it is I'm back in an actual house and can build a big grow area and actualy have a big grow its going to take a while for me to build my new grow area, I'm thinking a 20x20 room so yeah its going to be really big, I'm kinda excited to make it, its going to be my very first huge project ever but it will be worth it, I'm also looking at to 60 port growers with 4 bigger 30 port growers that I can use the smaller ports for cloning and starting off, then the bigger one for vegging and flowering, I'm kinda excited to get started
