Okay so i am planning on going hempy buckets for my next grow and i have these 2 bottles of general hydroponics nutes that i have had for probably about 10 years and have never used, i have floragro 2-1-6 and i have florabloom 0-5-4 i was wondering if these nutes are still good and if they will still work with the newer version of floramicro since that is what one i don't have.

TY for any info in advance

The bottles have never been opened, so i am hoping they are still good, i just checked the NPK of the flora series they have advertised on there web site and the NPK is the same so i am assuming that the flora micro should work with the nutrients i have?

[edit] i just downloaded a PDF of the labels from there current line and it looks like its the exact same recipe that they used to make these 10 year old bottles so I'm going to assume that micro should work just fine with it.

I once used bottles of GH flora that were 4+ years old and had been opened. Worked fine. The nutrients had started to precipitate out of solution just a bit. I re-dissolved the precipitate using an equal volume of distilled water, doubling the volume of the solution (which I poured into two liter bottles). Just used double the amount of nutrients at each stage.

Now I only did this because a) I was broke as hell and b) it was my first try doing anything hydro, and I just ran two plants as a test. If I wasn't broke and/or if I needed to make sure my shit came out right, I would have found a way to buy fresh nutes.

TL;DR: if nothing has precipitated, ur probably good. If it has, re-dissolve it and get growing!
