Stink factor:strongest smell last weeks of flowering or first week of drying?

I've got some white Russians that are in the very last stages of flowering. 57days and almost done.

Obviosly the smell is very strong right now.

When I cut and start to dry will the 'stink factor' increase? Decearse? Or stay the same? Assuming I dry in the same room I'm growing in.

Any help is appreciated.

When you cut them down and trim them, etc. they will stink the worst, since you're agitating the plant. However, once they are hung up to dry, they will become less odorous by the day, as they dry out.
