Wow that's good to know, and that gives me hope!
I moved recently and never anticipated heat issues in my grow.

My outside temps are 85-88. Temp in the cab is around 95 wid 150 watt MH. I'm adding more vents and fans to try to lower the temp even more, but it's very hard given the high outside temp.

I finally tested it out and my temp still sits at 90 degrees. I have two other fans blowing inbetween the the light and canopy. Your fan seems restricted so close to the side of the tent, you may want some thing more directional or oscillating. Also figure a way to move your ducting up to the top, it's restricting air flow how it is, the ducting at top will help cooling as well.

And do you have any fresh air coming in the tent? the duct looks to go from the, intake - cool tube - exhaust.


Edit: and P.S. you would be much better off using that AC money to buy an inline fan and carbon filter, if you don't have one. Not only would it help with cooling, it would help with smell.

The only real temp that matters is at plant level. I have two probes but my main is right at canopy level. I don't care what the temp is at the top of my room. My plants are on the ground, not on the ceiling.

Best way for lowering temp's is try switching your light on at night time and off dureing the day.

If that dosnt work , you will need to up your outake fan and or your intake fan.

If you can only replace one fan, replace the outake.

I increased my passive ventilation and added a fan. My indoor temp is now only 2 degrees above outside temp. Problem is my outside temp can reach 88 (recently) so that still gives me 90 inside. A bit better at night, maybe 2 degrees lower, so I get 88 inside.
So half of the time I'm at 90 and the other half around 88. Still on the high side. Worst case, I will save up for an AC.

If your grow area is at a 90 degree max, you're just fine. Spend that money on better stuff for your plants, rather than something that's going to suck power
