Hey everyone, I planted my greenhouse bubba kush and some Violator kush form Barneys farm on sunday so today is day 6, im doing the greenhouse effect and have them in the back of my closet with the 600 watt on but they are in the back and the light is at 75% lumens and nothing has come up yet so yesterday got really annoyed and planted some afghan kush from world of seeds and going to plant some kings kush hope they come up, so anyways tomorrow is day 7 should I just trash the 2 at day 7 or wait a little longer? and oh I know when you use a greenhouse effect there is supposed to be alot of condisation and the bags were really wet but the soil was dry so I waterd them today hoping they come up lol thanks for any input in advance.:blsmoke:

I have had weird results with sprouting under an HPS. I've spent days under the hps then I moved it under a couple cfl and they came up before night fall. Maybe it's just my luck but anyway I wouldn't trash em till The 11th day. Believe it or not some can take THAT long. Peace bro and hope it works out for ya. Keep us updated.

Did you put the seeds directly in the soil? or did you use some sort of method to sprout them before putting them in?

Thats your problem. Should have germenated them before you put them in. That dosent mean they wont grow, but it would have sped up the process

You can do this by getting a paper towl, run it under water, ring all the excess water out, put the seeds on the paper towl, then fold the paper towl. Then put it between two paper plates in a dark place and in 2-3 days theyll have sprouted and ready to be put into dirt.

You should try that next time

Lose the humidity dome they are not needed. Clones need humidity not roots. Too much heat and humidity is going to lead to root rot.

Also seeds are programmed to germinate when conditions are suitable for them to survive. They won't sprout if its too hot, too cold, too wet, they will continue to lie dormant. Soak your seed for 12hours and PLANT it and leave it alone. Don't water unless it's bone dry. You'd be surprised how much more successful you'll be.

true. i use paper towels on some of my kushes but i lightly scrape the outter shell them use p.t.m then usually within 6-24 hrs i have open beans and then i pre soak the soil with 1/4 nute and then i put them in and thats enough nute to last for a while just in case they need to thrive alive lol.

So far with my paper towl, I've had all but one germ. Everytime I did it, It was pretty much spot on.

There's nothing wrong with paper towels, so long as you use them right. The problem is people seem to think you're supposed to grow your plants in them. You've got to get them planted before the root makes it's natural bend in attempt to break the dirt.
