hi, new here, im just wondering something that someone said to me which i think is bullshit or they hav'nt got a clue about growing bud. I've tryed aussie blues before and the shit was sticky as hell and smoked nicely, but this arse hole said that the buds can be realy sticky before the harvest and when u dry it out, it loses all the stickiness. just wondering if its true or is there some skill or tip in keeping ur buds sticky when drying? :weed:

there is no comparison to the plant when its alive..
you can most deffinitly loose some of the stickyness and the color in the drying process.....so hes not completely wrong...it just depends how you grow and harvest....ive grown shit that stunk and was sticky and smelled amazing and was bright green, then i chopped it and it looked nothing like when it was alive.....
it still tasted and smoked amazing it just wasnt as vibrant when i harvested

...depends on strain, but all and all...I'd say that the oil of the trichs are more in liquid form while the plants are alive, and do seem to be "more sticky"...but, not sooo true with certain strains. From what I've experienced, sativas seem to become less sticky after dry/cure...just my experience.

It depends on the thc content & trics which depends on the strain. It also has
alot to do with how it's cured like others have stated.
