I honestly would never guess a plant could stay that small for that long without looking unhealthy. You would assume if it wasn't getting enough light it would be stretching, and if it wasn't getting proper nutrition it would be dying.

What kind of light and how far from the plants?

Sorry about the lighting. It was taken about a year ago under my old lights, they were really crappy lights too. But these plants were exactly 2 weeks old when the picture was taken.

As already said you need way much more lighting. It doesn't have to be very expensive lighting, they were some cheap as COBS I got from Amazon.

So sorry to keep bothering you, but could you lead me in the right direction of these lights on Amazon? I really want this to work. I have restless leg syndrome and am hoping this will help me. What amount of wattage would I need for them? What is a good made set up? I just looked but am totally lost on all they offer. Thank you.

Start right here.

Start at the end and work your way back a handful of pages. Lots of deals happening.

Look for 'newer' tech LED lights...not the red/blue 'blurples' or some of the older COB style stuff. Most of them will appear to be white LEDs but with some red enhancement... The diodes that most people are using are Samsung 301's (or similar knock offs).

Ignore the headline wattage and/or if a light lists a big number in its name and look for the wattage that the light 'draws'...it'll be usually listed in the description.

Usually I use a T5 when my plants are still that small. They work great because the plant has to touch a bulb to burn it, so you can put the light as close as possible and not worry about anything. I assume you're growing from seed to harvest in the same room, so you want a dimmable LED that can cover both phases. I'm not really sure what the minimal wattage you can use, but all of my lights are 600+. I dim them hard while they are in veg.

Thank you much. I will be searching. You can bet if I have anymore questions, I'll be back. Hope you don't mind.

Thank you and I will be shopping. They look very healthy and smell GREAT! Just a bit small I guess. Thx again. Oh and how often do you water these little gems? I only have two.

Not grow related but someone in my family has RLS. Caffeine and chocolate are triggers. Maybe try and cut those down or out and see if that helps.

That mostly depends on the medium you are using. You're growing in soil from the looks of it, so use the weight test. Water to saturation to get a feel for how heavy it is, then let it go a few days until it feels light. You obviously don't want the plant to wilt, but overwatering leads to all sorts of problems.
