Stems on cuttings curling

In a established plant the bottom of the stem is fixed in place and the plant can adjust itself into light.
So basically it is trying to turn itself pointing towards the light.
Solutions is to adjust the light that it comes from above or increase the amount of light.
Carefull with the amount of light though, 50ppfd 24/7 is enough for cuttings before they develop roots.

All in all it's no biggie, biggest problem would be that the stem isnt touching the water because it's curled all the way up.

Its an aeroponic cloner and water is sprayed onto all stems 15 min on and 15 min off 24/7
 
I added some Clonex Clone Solution to the aero cloner water and also dipped the cuttings in some Clone X Gel when I cut them.

Yep, as long as it stays moist it isn't really a problem.
Put the light above it and I bet it would straighten itself.
Or add the light intensity bit later when there's more roots.

I've had bending stems in cuttings often when I let them lean againts water glass, so they try straighten themselves up.
 
a lot of times they will "grow" out of this issue Hell !! they are only a few days old ----They will take care of them selves as long as the are green.understand your concerns -just take a breath --Peace
 
Could be genetic. I have a Grimm Glue that does all sorts of shit like that. Especially in veg. You have to grow that plant like a grape vine though so not sure if its the same issue.

I'm sure it will still root fine, and the stem being bent isn't going to cause the plant to not grow. Fortunate for you the system you use sprays the bottoms, this beats systems where your required to submerge stems into the water.

I am getting an EZ Cloner soon but still just end up paying $20 for 100 root riots because I'm not wanting to pull the trigger. I am a strong advocate of if it ain't broke don't fix it but at the same time I'm always excited to try new shit.

I'm to the point I pack my nursery tray with little pots of saturated coco, roll cuttings in ~0.1% IBA root powder and stab into the pots, cover with dome and avoid plugs/cloners altogether..

If I went DWC I would buy an EZ cloner and be having as much fun as you guys.

#1 mistake noobs make is way too much PPFD for clones/cuttings. (been there)

Okay I have an idea of why this happened. It also happened on mine. I have been growing a lot of years and this was a first.
The pressure was to high from the pump. It was my first time using a small 16 plug cloner. And it has same size pump as the larger cloning machines. The vents were all the way open and the vent cover has actually fallen off.
So try adjusting the pump vent.
 
First time growing this strain snoops truffizzle as well but honestly think it was the pressure. Like they were trying to back off from it?
