Hi all.
I have a stem problem. It seems my plants are very delicate and easily suffer from stem damage. I have several plants with nice fat stems except for a very skinny shiveled part of the stem at the base of the plant. I'm not sure if its me somehow damaging my plants by moving them around, not that I move them much at all, or if its some issue with the environment.
One plant totally has me perplexed. It's been under the HPS growing for a couple of weeks and its a very stout and broad plant and it has a very thick stem for its size. Yet now suddenly it's getting the shriveled stem syndrome several of the other plants have. Looks like i'm going to have to prop it up to keep it from falling over. What has me perplexed is ive been very careful with this plant. I haven't messed with it at all. The only thing thats been moving the plant is air flow from a window AC unit. I'll see if I can post some pics.
Just picture a super stout plant that is nice and broad with a really thick stem for its size and yet is has this part of the stem by the base of the plant that is thinning and shriveling.
