Stealthy ninja grow, CFLs, Lowryder - first time. Pics of my growspace.

Hi everyone.

So I'm a first time grower - did a fair bit of research on the 'net to work out wtf to do and come up with this space in literally the only usable cupboard in my apartment (it's a shared apartment and my housemate doesn't take too kindly to weed, lol).

I'm growing three (or possibly four, if the fourth seed germinates) Lowryder Automatic no 2's, in two plant pots.

The bulbs, if I remember correctly, are 23w CFLs (100w equivalent). There's a massive fan in there which blows the air out through the vent.

I know it's not an ideal set up and I have a couple of main questions.

1) The heat, partly because it's right next to the water heater, frequently gets up to 90F. Any advice? More fans? Reposition fans?

2) How often should I water? I'm using that water bottle spray thing and it has it in ml. I realise this is an age-old question. Sorry :-/.

3) Wtf should I do about that light at the front? Granted, no-one comes into my room very often (except my girlfriend, who's cool with it) but I'd rather not have a huge glowing light basically saying "OH HI! THERE'S A WEEDPARTY GOING ON IN HERE AND YOU'RE ALL INVITED". Blegh.
