Stealthiest growroom ever!! If you ask me.

Just a quick pic of the door to my grow room. I usually leave the door open for heat but if needed it closes up nicely. It is in a back room of my basement and I insulated the entire basement in the same foil sealed insulation so taking 3 feet off one room isn't noticeable. I ran one new 12 gauge line on it's own 20 amp breaker with another wire ran just in case but doubt i'll need it. This is my first grow and am trying to take neccessary precautions but don't need half of them.
So now i just have to figure out how I'm going to grow some serious bud!! Instead of the gangly hermie that I've got now!

I do need to add some ventilation. Most of the time I leave the door open if possible. For my next grow I plan on getting a carbon filter and venting it out a window I covered inside my growroom. Don't know what I'm going to do when I leave for vacation cuz I have to close it all up and I can't see the sense in leaving it open for a week. Rock and a hard place!

for odor, I am sold on a carbon scrubber and an ona block. when used together you can leave your door open and not smell nothing!

believe this or dont.

my plants started to stink in late veg, real bad, they are budding now.
i had an ionic breeze in the closet, i don't now. my little grow box is next to my closet, with a litter box underneath the desk it's on, that 5 cats use.

imagine the smell problems i should have? here is what i did that stopped it.
below are pictures of my little veg box, it's air intake and then exhaust is the only thing that cleans my air. planty of air moves through here and i have to keep a bowl of water under the fan to keep moisture in this baby, but in the end of my exhaust tube, i shoved half a sheet of an activiated carbon filter in the end making sure it was evenly distribued,,, wtf do you know... all my smells problems are gone. for now.

check it out..

awesome! i need to get off my ass then. do i have to open an inlet vent or passive vent in another part of my room?? i have a window i could vent out or in but it could get frigid out there and accidently freeze something.

I'm just a noob, but all my reading seems to indicate that people tend to pull air in from the house, not from the outside. But they often use a light trap if the room they're venting in from has any lights in it.
