Stealth UK based indoor grow opp?

Hey! I'm Mike and this is my first time posting on these forums, so go easy on me =P!
I live in the UK and i was thinking of starting a small grow opp. I have been weighing the pros and cons, risks and benefits, and methods of growing for months now, and i have decided that i'm onboard!

Right, my grow location is going to be inside a summer house (basicly and insulated garden shed). Inside this summerhouse i will have a chipboard cupboard, 60x60x60 (cm). Yes, i know its small, but is should suffice. I will be running a 250 watt HPS/MH (depedning on the growth stage), i will have an intake fan, and an exaust fan with a carbon filter; pretty basic setup really.

My main concerns are that i will either be detected because of my heat signature (from the 250 watt lamp), or because of the smell of my crop, despite the carbon filter being in place. Could someone please tell me how probable this is?

(This post is kinda noobish, i gotta admit, but i dont wanna end up on the inside lol, so i'm taking pre-cautions!)

you can buy uv reflective material and install it on your ceiling and down the wall a bit, that will deflect infrared camera's and as far as the smell, if you do use a good 6" carbon filter, there wont be any odor mate. try a bottle of "ona gel" the liquid kind, it really works wonders and smells nothing short of clean laundry

Thanks! Where can i buy that UV reflective sheeting? I'm aiming to buy most of my equiptment over the counter so i dont leave a trail of sorts.

Spock... Good luck to you mate... Check the website out down below i have only purchased a seedling light from them, but they have everyrthing you will need to get started.... I used the the infrared sheeting in my gro room witch is in the roof and it works a treat.. I would not be worried about the heat from the light 250w light it's fuck all.. What plants are you going to grow

ok spock i b/n looking and cant find. but at your local hydro store, they'll know where to get it , hell, they probably got it in stock now, my local store does. and with just 1 250 watter, i dont think you will draw enough heat anyways, but better safe than sorry. that uv stuff looks kinda like those little packaging bubbles that you can pop when you push you know, except it is coated with like this shiny coating. comes in a 25 ft. roll or maybe 50 ft.

Thanks =D! I was planning on growing Paradise, Wappa seeds (supposedly a strain like white widow and northen lights). I would have gone for somethign a little fancier, but this seemed to be the best i can find over the counter in london.

remember, a fully sativa can be grown at a little hotter enviroment than a indica BUT it cant be to hot. is that garden house of yours got some sort of ac or are you just going with the fans

I would suggest a lowryder plant for limited space... I grew 2 last time round and man was i surprised. got over 1oz dried and was finished in 9 weeks from seed. 1 thing to keep in mind with them the smell is strong off them, but good smoke for a plant that size
