A friend of mine sent 10 seeds in the mail to me last year, in a paper envelope sealed with duct tape and a scribbled address and name on it. The package looked like it could've contained Anthrax! However it arrived safe and sound, no questions asked. So what I'm saying is the chances of you getting pinched are minimal at best. Cheers!

Always remember, everything in the mail, including magazines, are "stealth" until opened.

Seriously, if the federallis found it, you'de get a letter from them saying something illegal mailed to you was "intercepted".
And by the way, "don't go pick it up".
I've received every "stealth order" I've ever ordered.

Skybike,
First class mail within the USA carries very unique protection. Its guarded by the US Constitution, the Fourth Amendment! Federal Express can open any package they like and so can UPS but to open first class mail requires a federal search warrant. Many people do not realize this … so unless the USPS has a search warrant they are forbidden from opening your mail. The Supreme Court has held that United State first-class mail, whether a letter or package is similar to a telephone conversation and the contents of a letter or package are considered private by most reasonable people. A search warrant would only be signed off by a federal judge if probable cause shows that a letter contains marijuana, having a suspicion is not grounds for a warrant. States have nothing to do with US mail

Mail coming in from Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands has the same protection but not mail from outside of the US. Still US customs passes most packages without tampering with it.

Yes but if there no sender printed that probable cause and if the sender is listed that's probable cause. but most of the time they hold it and mail a letter to you.
