Stealth Outdoor Tent Drying Idea

I don't think im the first one to think of this
has anyone done it ?
is it possible?

I'm currently growing outdoors
in a stealthy spot on someone elses property.
the guy has such a big property and thick bush
he will never know about it .

to the point:
I have no where to hang dry my marijuana.
i can't do it inside because my parents will find it easy.
these buds are going to be SO dank when done.
so theres no question that my parents wouldn't find it inside.

Sooo im thinking i should pitch a screen tent
yes an actual tent outdoors near my grow spot.
and hang dry all my weed in this tent .
there are often overhead planes flying by
so i will have to use camoflauge.
it wont be hard to hide considering there is so much thick bush
and areas that i can pick from.
Do you think hanging my buds in the tent for a few days
will promote even dryness throughout the buds?
keep in mind the tent is a screen tent.
putting a tarp over it will be optional incase of rain.

if i left them to dry over night in the tent
would a morning frost wreck my buds drying process?

any further ideas and thoughts are appreciated.

Ok let me know what you guys think .

Ive thought of this idea too but with a big greenhouse. ahah

Um if your screen tent lets too much light in on your buds the THC will start to degrade.

If you have an actual tent will the cover over top would be better overnight but in the day it might heat up to much and be to humid causing mold.

If you have no were alse to dry your buds out, i guess it would work just keep the tent cool through the day.

Ive seen people drying out hole plants without trimming and stuff, just buy hanging them up in trees for a week or so - bad idea tho.

hope this helps.

Good luck

I have used a Pop-up camoflaged ground blind, as used in hunting. Its pretty dark in mine with all the flaps closed and it blends so well in the woods I almost couldnt find my own plants. I also snuck in and covered them with this for an early cold snap. Saved the plants and got me another couple of weeks of bud growth.

A few days of sun on the buds will not degrade them to any degree. Go for it.

If I understand right they will not be getting full sun thru the screen anyways.

Hi mate, this is a long shot but did you have a battery powered fan? and how did you control the humidity in the ground blind?

I've been growing outside for the last 3 years in Texas. If your chopping in the summer your buds will dry to a crisp in one day. And if you chop more into the fall its more managable, but they will still dry out in 2-3 days. You can do it like this though. Chop some of the bud down, manicure it, then weigh it out. Now I'm pretty sure bud is 80% water, but if you don't believe me you can take a sample and dry it completely out to get the solid weight. I think the target moisture content would be around 15%, but you don't wont to go straight to 15%. You'd want to go to about 25% or a little bit lower, so you'll have ~45% weight left before you take it back home in jars. Then you can get around your parents!

Back in the day we had it pretty well figured out on the wet to dry weight ratio . We had gotten to the point of drying bud on screens after removing all stems . Weigh it green and it will generally weigh 1/6th of that amount dried .

I don't recommend drying outdoors . We tried it back when we were young and didn't know any better . Definitely cuts down on the flavor and quality .

Parents isn't an issue I have my own place I just don't want to stink it out and keep it low budget. If I use a ground blind and put one of those drying racks in that are made out of netting and have different levels and put humidity packs on each level, and get a battery powered fan. Would it still cut down on flavour and quality?
