Stealth Outdoor Auto-flower Grow; Easy Ryder and Green-o-Matic!!

Grow Specs:
  • 5x Green-o-Matic
  • 4x Easy Ryder
  • Potting mix
  • 1.5l pots
  • Liquid Blood and Bone
  • Rootblast

This is my first time ordering seeds online and I was really impressed as they only took six days to arrive from the day I purchased them and I'm taking it as a sign from the Ganja Gods as it was the day before spring!

To start things off I germinated one of the Easy Ryder seeds in a wet paper towel inside a D.V.D case on top of my T.V. I did this on the 1st of September and yesterday I could already see a 2cm tail coming out of the seed, at this point I added one of my Green-o-Matic seeds and am going to plant them both in their little hot box outside this morning.:weed:

I will put some pictures up later on today as it is too early for me to get up yet....... I'm on holiday :joint:

I look foward to seeing the pics!

I'm an experienced grower with regular indoor/outdoor breeds. Never messed with the autoflowering strains, but I plan to try 60 Day Wonder or one of the others in the upcoming months.

Thanks for stopping by, yeah I'm really excited about these seeds hopefully if all goes well i won't have to be buying any smoke for the Christmas period. :joint:
I am planning to do multiple harvests this summer with only two plants this year and the rest in January.

Here are the pictures from when I planted them just before.. Day 1:weed:

The plants are doing good, growing slowly as there has been a lot of rain and they are trapped in their hot box... really i should have them inside but that isn't an option where I am living.
The easy ryder pooped up straight away but the g-o-m only pooped out of the ground yesterday as i didn't let the root appear before i planted it
Was planning to get some pics up today but my bloody family is home.. should be able to take some tomorrow as I only have a morning class!

A quick question for anyone who happens to read this.. Should I take the plants out of the cardboard cup iv got them in at the moment or should i just plant the little cup directly into the bigger pot? P.S New pics will be up first thing tommorow

If those are peat cups, just plant the cup into a bigger pot. Do not try to remove the seedling from the peat cup because when you try to pop it out either a) the root system will not be developed enough to hold the soil together, and you'll separate the roots from the rest of the plant or b) the roots will have already infiltrated the side/bottom of the pot and...you'll separate the roots from the rest of the plant. That's why you see people using the party cups...when the seedling outgrows the party cup, you can just pop the whole thing out of the cup and transplant it with minimal shock. And a lot of people avoid the drama altogether by germinating directly in the pot the plant will spend its life in.

Yeah sweet as, the only reason i used the little cups was because the came in the kit and it was the only thing would fit in the hotbox. I am going to put them in their final pots at the two week stage so that i can apply the root blast to the bottom of the pot and start using the liquid blood and bone. :weed:

Wagontail, do you have any experience with autoflowers e.g. smell compared to photoperiod?

Okay, that will work.

I did some autoflowers early in the year, AK47 and Hindu Kush. I'm also growing a bunch of different photoperiod strains, first grow so I'm not any sort of expert. The autoflowers were as strong and similar in scent to the photoperiods that are finishing now. Is that what you mean?

Yeah it was thanks it seems like I'm going to have to find a way to combat the smell a little even though I only have two growing. Things like lavender and rosemary help don't they?
Is mj medicinal in NY?

Nope.

But good luck with the two. I'd be curious to see how it turns out...the grow and what you think of the smell.

Anyone know the recommended average temperature to grow auto flowers in? I have a bad feeling I have put them out too early

I am now un-able to post anymore pictures of my babies while they are growing because of an unfortunate incident which meant i had to move them to a very hard to access spot but i will return with more pictures when i get them back for harvest!!:leaf:

SDC12127.jpgSDC12125.jpgSDC12124.jpgHey I had some luck with my spot and I can now use it again so Iv updated some pics... They have just shown their pistils and smell amazing already.
I made the mistake of planting these in September which is way too cold for these babies to grow as I had not checked that they shouldn't be in temps that go below 15 degrees celcius. Even now the min temp here is 10. But theyr picking up everyday and look really healthy considering. However I should still have some bud to harvest before the new year. I am planning to start my next round of these in December hoping to harvest in Febuary as the avg min temp for these months is 15 degrees I should be able to get a lot more than I will off this lot.:-P

Could I please get some info from other growers, who have had experience with a stunted auto, I just want to know what you yielded and a smoke report. I have searched through the forums many times but people hardly ever put pics of a small auto harvest.. thanks in advance

This just a reference for me to know when I planted my latest baby. I started germing it yesterday using the same method as I have previously used and a tiny white tail has appeared just now. I found this seed the other day when some douche bag left a shot glass full of weed at mine, i thought it was not going to be very good smoke when I found the seed but it got me super hii and the bud looked really nice.. so i decided to germ it and eventually put it out in the bush with the church clones in December.

Oh and my easy ryder turned male :( but ill live on.. I can already see seven bud site developing on the g-o-m and its really cool watching more and more hairs appear each day when i check on her

I enjoyed your thread, on the way to start some auto myself.
Cheers!
